LEARN ABOUT LIGHT AND SHADOW:

Chiaroscuro:
*In my opinion, this technique use light and shadow to create natural outline and bring out the object without 'outlining' with drawing lines (it is so hard to express in word TT)

Create outlines with light and shadow

4. SELF REFLECTION
Honestly, this task is so much fun! It's actually the first time I've drawn in Illustrator. I've been using pen and paper for ages, so drawing with shapes and the Pen Tool in Illustrator is a completely new experience for me. I tried to use as many techniques as I could, and I think it turned out quite well. My favorite part was adding the details (like drawing the books, sack, and the texture of the wood, etc.). It really made the whole scene feel more complete.

In conclusion, I enjoyed every part of this task! The fact that I can slowly build up a world, settings, and everything for my Vormator character is fascinating.
