1. SUMMARY ABOUT THE COMPETITION

The Theme of the competition: Unity in Diversity

Description for our final artwork:

Unity:

Link all of the character with lines.

Diversity: 

8 of us have different artstyle, we use our artstyle to draw all kinds of people ( Some of them is black and white, some of them is 2D, some are cute, some are realistic etc) to emphasize the 'diversity'

Concept:

We have a few ideas for this competition:

1. Inspired by Dance (Henri Matisse)

People (from different country, region etc) are holding hands together

Bold=Diversity

Italic=Unity

2. Inspired by the Shibuya Crossing

Shibuya Crossing

People on the street slowly gather together

Bold=Diversity

Italic=Unity

The final plan for our competition is PLAN 2: Shibuya Crossing

2. REFLECTION

This is my first competition in university! It's been fun (even though we have to travel to KL by MRT and LRT for one hours TT), and it's been a while since I last participated in a competition, so it's great to have the chance to build my confidence and gain experience. In addition, we get to see the work of our seniors, which is a great way to explore a lot of amazing designs! I'm really happy I decided to take part in this event (at first, I had some doubts), and I want to thank my friends (and teammates too, hehe) for pushing and encouraging me!
